Zoom Coffee Break, Happy Hour Sessions For Faculty and Staff

Have you logged in to your Zoom account yet?  Want to test it out and connect with other Webster faculty and staff?

Various Webster faculty and staff will be hosting informal sessions for you to connect and socialize using our newest tool to enhance instruction, host remote meetings, and interact with others across the Webster network. These Zoom Coffee Break/Happy Hour sessions are open to all Webster faculty and staff from all campus locations around the world. (Beverages not provided by Webster University, but you are invited to bring your own!)

How To Participate

  • Log in to Zoom for the first time. Please visit webster.edu/technology/zoom for instructions.
  • Connect to one of the scheduled Zoom Coffee Break/Happy Hour Sessions.

Session Dates and Times 

  • Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 8:30 a.m. Coffee Break Zoom Session hosted by Heidi Vix, head of resources management services, Emerson Library. 
  • Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 4:30 p.m.Happy Hour Zoom Session hosted by DJ Kaiser, associate dean, School of Education. 
  • Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. Happy Hour Zoom Session hosted by JP Palmer, professor, Management Department. 
  • Thursday, Aug. 13 at 3 p.m. Happy Hour Zoom Session hosted by Danielle MacCartney, associate professor, Department of Anthropology and Sociology. 
  • Friday, Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. Coffee Break Zoom Session hosted by Amy Whited-Hylton, LMS tech support specialist, Online Learning Center and Kate Pitman, Online Student Orientation and support specialist, Online Learning Center. 

These Coffee Break/Happy Hour Sessions are more informal to give you a chance to test out Zoom while taking a break from work or life. For more formal training opportunities with Zoom please visit the Webster Knowledge Center in the WorldClassRoom.
