Webster Named Best of Colorado Springs 2015

May. 18, 2015

Webster University was selected as 2015 “Colorado Springs Best” in the University division of the city’s annual awards.

Each year the city votes for “Best of the Springs” in a survey conducted by the City of Colorado Springs in conjunction with the local newspaper, The Gazette, and the Colorado Springs Awards Committee. More than 15,000 voters and eight staff members weigh in.

“We would like to thank all the staff, faculty and of course students for believing in us and helping to make this happen,” said Margaret Reed, senior director, Webster University Colorado Springs campus location. “We are so pleased to receive this recognition from our peers as we celebrate our 38th year here in Colorado Springs.”

Webster University has offered programs in Colorado Springs since 1977. Webster campuses in the region piloted the new MS in Cybersecurity, and three are the only ones that offer the MS in Space Systems Operations Management. Eileen Collins, the first female to pilot the space shuttle, is a graduate of Webster through the Colorado Springs campus location.
