Snapshot: Russian Chess Champion Visits Webster Geneva
Russian grandmaster Alexander Riazantsev visited Webster Geneva.

Alexander Riazantsev, the winner of 2016 Russian Championship Superfinal and European Rapid Chess Championship and one of the coaches of the Russian women's national chess team, recently visited the Webster University Geneva campus and met with campus director Clementina Acedo.

Riazantsev, who is competing at the Geneva Chess Grand Prix 2017 connected with Webster students and Webster alumnus and former chess club president Roman Chestnovs.

During his visit, Riazantsev expressed his interest in developing a closer collaboration with Webster Geneva and exploring different ways to promote chess on campus.
