Old Webster-Wifi Network Turns Off June 12
Connect to the new WU_Wireless network to maintain service.

Information Technology rolled out a new wireless network called WU_Wireless in January. As a reminder, this network serves as the replacement for the existing webster-wifi network which will be turned off on Tuesday, June 12, at 12 p.m. Central Daylight Time.

This date had been delayed from April to accommodate Spring 2018 courses. After 12 p.m. on June 12, users will be required to connect to WU_Wireless in order to access wireless service.

WU_Wireless is available at the main Webster Groves campus, St. Louis area campuses and most U.S. extended sites. If you are still using the existing webster-wifi network, please start connecting to WU_Wireless now to take advantage of benefits such as enhanced security and no longer having to log in again when you move between buildings on campus.

After you connect for the first time, your devices will automatically log you in anytime you are in range of the network.

Instructions on connecting your Windows, Mac, Android or iOS device to the WU_Wireless network can be found here.

If you have any questions, please contact the IT Service Desk at x5995 or via email to support@webster.edu.
