Nominations Open for 2019-20 Student Leadership Awards

Student Leadership Award nominations are now being accepted now through March 16. Please take a moment to nominate a deserving student or student organization for recognition of their accomplishments during the 2019-2020 academic year.

All nominees and nominators will be invited to attend the 27th Annual Student Leadership Awards dinner on Friday, April 24.

Individual Awards

Students must have been enrolled and in good academic and judicial standing during the 2019-20 academic year to be eligible for awards.  Self-nominations will not be considered for individual awards.

In addition to specific award requirements, please also consider nominating candidates whose work aligns with the following Global Citizenship Program factors: Written Communication, Critical Thinking, Ethical Reasoning, Intercultural Competence, Knowledge, Oral Communication, and Quantitative Literacy.

Qualified nominees will have been recognized and registered student organizations during Fall 2019 and/or Spring 2020 semesters or (when appropriate) groups representing Campus Departments or Student Employment groups.

  • Outstanding Contributions to Cultural Awareness
  • Program of the Year
  • Student Organization of the Year
  • The Jacqueline Grennan Wexler Award for Humanitarianism and Servant Leadership
