To the Webster Groves campus community,

A student that moved into West Hall earlier this week tested positive for COVID-19 late last night. The student was directed to be tested and self-quarantine on Wednesday. Now, the student has been asked to move into isolation. The University is in the process of disinfecting West Hall and other locations. In addition, the University is in the process of contact tracing to notify others who may have come in direct contact with the student.

As a general reminder to everyone on campus, daily health screenings, the wearing of masks and social distancing are mandatory requirements, as health experts say these three behaviors are the best methods to reducing the transmission of the coronavirus to others. For more information on all of the health protocols at Webster University, visit www.webster.edu/Covid19/
