Parr on 97.1 FM to Talk Religious/Social Issues

Christopher Parr, professor of religious studies in the College of Arts & Sciences, will be interviewed at 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, 2015  on 97.1 FM for on the Dave Glover Show to discuss religious and social issues. Parr was recently interviewed on the Aug. 11 show

Corrigan Keynotes Environmental Action Event

Don Corrigan, professor of journalism in the School of Communications, will be the keynote speaker for the Make a Bigger Difference: Environmental Action for Your Life, Your Community and Your House of Worship forum on Aug. 25 at The Ethical Society of St. Louis, 9001 Clayton Road 63117, from 6:45 to 9:00 PM. The event is free, but registration is required.

Weeks Discusses Opportunities in Space Studies for Children

Edythe Weeks, adjunct faculty member in the College of Arts & Sciences, will present a lecture and discussion for children and young learners about key events and emerging trends related to outer space development.The "Enchanted Space Studies" will be held in the Emerson Library, 3-4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22.

Ages 5-18 are encouraged to attend; adults should accompany small children. Register for the free event here.
