MCISA Bus Trip to Take Students to Southern Civil Rights Destinations

MCISA Fall Break Trip

The Multicultural Center and International Student Affairs (MCISA) department welcomes students to join the Fall Break "Get On the Bus" trip to Memphis, Tennessee and Little Rock, Arkansas from Oct. 19-21.

On Monday, Oct. 19, students will visit the National Civil Rights Museum and stay one night in Memphis. Tuesday we will travel to Little Rock, Arkansas and visit the Little Rock Central High School where the Little Rock 9 were the first to integrate the school systems in America. On Wednesday we will visit the William J. Clinton Presidential Library before heading back to St. Louis.

The cost for the trip is $75, which covers transportation, lodging for two nights, entrance to all sites and two group meals. This program is funded by the Student Activity Fee. Students can sign up in the MCISA office or via the MCISA blog at http://blogs.webster.edu/mcisa/.
