Snapshot: Peace Corps on Campus

Peace Corps recruiter Joe Zucchini visited the Webster Groves campus on Wednesday, Oct. 14, to inform Webster students about how to translate their undergraduate degree and experience into two years of international service with the Peace Corps.

The Peace Corps is a life-defining leadership experience and launching pad for a 21st-century career, said Trezette Dixon, assistant director, Employer Relations, Career Planning and Development Center.

"The Peace Corps embraces the Webster University mission to transform students for global citizenship and individual excellence," Dixon said. "That’s why it’s such a pleasure to welcome organizations like this on campus for recruiting.  Our students have the opportunity to experience an inspirational presentation that gives them a glimpse into the service of a Peace Corps Volunteer."

Many students visited the information table and attended the information session on Wednesday, but those who missed it still have time to apply or learn more info: Contact Joe Zucchini, Peace Corps field-based recruiter, St. Louis, Missouri, at 314-441-0534 or
