Sexual Misconduct Prevention Poster Winning Designs Selected

Four winning designs have been selected for the poster contest about increasing awareness of sexual misconduct prevention. A total of 36 designs were submitted by students from throughout the Webster network of campuses, and finalists were selected in four categories: consent, bystander intervention, importance of reporting and amnesty.

Students, faculty and staff were invited to vote online for the best entries in each category. The finalists in each category can be seen here: http://www.webster.edu/campus-life/student-services/poster_contest.html

As many as 473 votes were cast. The winners in each category are:

  • Bystander Intervention: Gia Bao Anh Nguyen, a junior media communications major at the Thailand campus
  • Consent: Michaela Finnerty and Farah Tinnemeyer, junior graphic design art majors at the Webster Groves campus
  • Importance of Reporting: Thanapatara Sriboonruang, junior advertising/marketing communications major at the Thailand campus
  • Amnesty: Michaela Finnerty and Farah Tinnemeyer, junior graphic design art majors at the Webster Groves campus

Each category winner will receive a $250 prize, and their poster designs will be used in the Sexual Misconduct Prevention Awareness campaign.
