Veterans Day: Military Appreciation Breakfast Salutes Webster's Active Military, Veterans

On Veterans Day, Nov. 11, Webster University honors all who have served.

Americans celebrate Veterans Day each year, showing appreciation for the military men and women who are serving or have served in the United States Armed Forces. The University also recognizes its friends around the world who celebrate Remembrance Day, which honors those who have served their countries.

On Wednesday, Webster's Student Veterans Organization (SVO) hosted the fourth annual Military Appreciation Breakfast in Marletto’s Marketplace, welcoming Webster's students, faculty and staff who are veterans or active military members.

In October, representatives of the Veterans Administration visited the home campus to discuss the “Vet Success on Campus” (VSOC) program. Webster University is the only university in Missouri with a VSOC. Additionally, the VA met with students and University representatives and toured the new Student Veterans Center.
