Snapshot: Career Planning On-Campus Recruiting Services

A representative from the Six Flags amusement park was on campus recently as part of the on-campus recruiting services offered by Webster's Career Planning & Development Center.

Mike Neace, manager of Hurricane Harbor and Admissions at Six Flags, visited Webster's home campus on Feb. 17-18.

During his visit, Neace informed students about life guard positions available at Six Flags water park Hurricane Harbor, as well as the variety of career opportunities in park services and operations.
While people visit Six Flags for the thrills, Neace said it is also a thrilling a place to work. If you are a friendly person who is motivated by a dynamic workplace, you will thrive in the welcoming environment, he said.

Neace said Six Flags is increasing its efforts to recruit at local universities in order to retain qualified candidates year round, noting that it is a chance to meet other outgoing individuals and create new relationships that can last a lifetime.

Webster's campus in Webster Groves is only 25 minutes from the park. Neace will be back on campus on Saturday, Feb. 27, to conduct swim tests and interviews for life guard candidates. To find out more about lifeguard positions and other opportunities, contact Mike Neace at 636-938-5300 extension: 6728 or
