The two-day "Critical Conversations: Embracing Diversity and Inclusion" conference kicked off Feb. 29 at the home campus of Webster University. Several media outlets' advance coverage of the event and its speakers provided a preview of the issues to be discussed at the two-day conference.

Among the coverage:

"We reached out to student leaders and met with them and asked them to tell us their experiences and what we can improve,” Stroble told The American. This conference, she said, was designed to “help create more learning opportunities.”

The conference continues through the evening on Feb. 29 and all day on Tuesday, March 29.
