Webster Wins Green Business Challenge Award

Webster University has again won an Award of Merit in the annual St. Louis Green Business Challenge. The award means Webster was one of the top three performers in the Champion category, the top tier. Recipients were praised for "driving both internal greening and the value of sustainability as a business practice for our regional economy as a whole." Several accomplishments and innovations contributed to Webster receiving this recognition, said Kelsey Wingo, Webster's sustainability planner.

Local Recruiters Visit Webster for Fall On Campus Recruiting Program

The Career Planning and Development Center concluded the fall On Campus Recruiting Program with information tables hosted by local employers. Over the last several weeks, students had the opportunity to chat with local recruiters such as Maritz and Dewey's Pizza and gather information about St. Louis-area employers at information tables in the University Center Commons and Edward Jones Commons area in the East Academic Building.

green move out week

Green Winter Clean Out and Donation Collection Dec. 18-22

As students wrap up their fall semesters, Webster University Sustainability will be posting blue rolling bins with signage in each of the dorms as well as the Marletto’s for students, faculty and staff to deposit gently used items and electronic waste. The bins will be available for item drop off Dec.18-22 in West Hall, East Hall and Maria Hall/Marletto’s.

Athletics Announces 2018 Hall of Fame Inductees

Webster University and director of athletics, Scott Kilgallon, are pleased to announce five Gorlok greats as the newest members of its Athletics Hall of Fame. The 2018 inductees include; two of the top sharp-shooters and scorers in Webster men’s basketball history, a midfielder for men’s soccer who solidified the young program plus a defender who helped make it a perennial conference contender, and a volleyball player who led the Gorloks to the school’s first SLIAC Championship, while making that program a perennial conference power as well.
