The Career Planning & Development Center’s Spring 2017 Professional Association Membership Program (ProAMP)

The Career Planning & Development Center’s (CPDC) Spring 2017 Professional Association Membership Program (ProAMP) awarded seven students with membership fees to the professional association of their choice.

Recipients chose to become student members of the Advertising Club of Greater Saint Louis, AIGA, the Council for Exceptional Children, the Information Systems Security Association, and the International Studies Association. The recipients, representing all five of Webster’s schools and colleges, expressed their excitement to develop additional knowledge in their chosen fields and connect with industry professionals.

One awardee stated, “A membership with this association is integral to my projected professional goals.”

The CPDC initiated ProAMP one year ago in order to promote engagement in professional communities related to students’ career and academic goals and looks forward to expanding its scope during the Fall 2017 application period.
