 Reimagining French Instruction for the 21st Century Forum

Webster University’s Centre Francophone and Vista Higher Learning will host a forum, "Reimagining French Instruction for the 21st Century on March 4, from 8:30-11 a.m., in the East Academic Building. Breakfast is also included.

Session I: Le français langue vivante, encore plus vivante: Aligning French language instruction with all that makes students tick, presented by Armando Brito

Session II: Portails vers l'avenir: Reimagining instruction to engage the 21st century student and increase student performance, presented by Professor Erin Hart-Johnston 

This event will be hosted by Lionel Cuillé, the Jane and Bruce Robert endowed professor of French at Webster University. A specialist of 19th- and 20th-century French literature, he has published on poets Francis Ponge, Blaise Cendrars, Arthur Rimbaud and Guillaume Apollinaire. Since 2012, he is also the founder and director of the Centre Francophone, which promotes French and Francophone cultures in the St Louis area.
