Volunteer Coaches Sought for Competitive Cheerleading Program

Due to the success and continued growth of the nationally ranked Webster University competitive cheerleading program, the program is looking for any professional faculty or staff members with prior cheerleading or dance experience that would like to serve in the role as volunteer coaches.

If you are interested and would like to know more about this opportunity please contact head coach, Justin Barton 314-246-7966 or jamesbarton41@webster.edu.

The competitive cheerleading program was launched two years ago. Webster cheerleaders earned a 5th place national ranking in the Intermediate Co-ed Collegiate Division at the Cheer Ltd. Canam National Collegiate Cheerleading Championships in March--the programs first-ever competition.

The squad performs at all men’s and women’s home basketball games, Webster University Preview Days, and other special events upon request.
