National Cyber Security Awareness Month: How to Secure Yourself at Work
October is National Cybersecurity Awareness month

The second week of cyber security awareness month focuses on how to secure yourself at work. Webster University IT has a tremendous number of resources to help you.

First, you will receive a security awareness newsletter on CEO Fraud. This has become very common and a highly successful targeted attack technique used by cyber criminals around the world.  You need to be aware of this.

Next, we will be distributing a poster titled “Don’t Get Hooked."  Learn the most common indicators of a phishing attack

And lastly, we will be sharing a site where you can learn more about protecting yourself online with daily security awareness tips.

If you have any questions about our activities in October or suggestions on how to improve our cyber security efforts, please contact Terri Jones at 314-246-7953, or terrij@webster.edu. She is overall responsible for our security awareness program and will be happy to hear from you.
