Webster Welcomes Michelle Fassler as Academic ADA Coordinator
Michelle Fassler

Michelle Fassler joins Webster University and the Academic Resource Center (ARC) today—Friday, Oct. 20—as the temporary academic ADA coordinator.

With more than 10 years of experience in education and human services, Fassler is skilled at relationship-building, advocacy, and data management. She has a master’s in school counseling and most recently worked at Places for People as a vocational services supervisor. She has also worked with individuals with disabilities as a benefits planning consultant and is a certified benefits specialist.

Fassler will pick up the work of former academic ADA coordinator Shelley Wolfmeyer, whose last day was Thursday, Oct.19. The academic ADA coordinator works with students, faculty and staff members to provide equal access for students with documented disabilities; facilitates Webster dialog to promote a greater understanding of disabilities and accommodations; and coordinates efforts, statistics, and metrics regarding disabilities and accommodations throughout the Webster world.

Please stop by and/or reach out to meet Fassler. She can be found in Wolfmeyer’s former office, Loretto Hall, 55. She may be contacted at extension 7700 (314-246-7700) or by email at mfassler02@webster.edu or disability@webster.edu.
