Peace Corps Recruits on Campus

Peace Corps recruiter Joe Zucchini visited the Webster University home campus in Webster Groves to inform students about the chance to make a difference oversees. His visit was hosted by the Career Planning & Development Center.

The organization creates opportunities to lead in health campaigns, boost local entrepreneurship, teach digital literacy, and a wide range of opportunities for the Webster University global citizen.

Students visited the information table, hosted in the University Center, and later attended the information session in the East Academic Building to learn more about this life-changing opportunity.

Zucchini was joined by Webster's Vanika Spencer, First Year Experience and Undergraduate Persistence coordinator and Peace Corps volunteer, who returned from Indonesia in 2016. She shared her experience and inspired students to make a difference in the world. Zucchini offered details about the application process, the support available to returning Peace Corps volunteers and how to market volunteer experience to employers.

If you are a change maker, ready to partner with global communities to make a difference, there’s still time to apply. If you have questions, contact Joe Zucchini, Peace Corps field-based Midwest recruiter, at 314-441-0534 or
