Representatives from Webster University's Biology, Math and Computer Science Departments participated in Hazelwood School District’s STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) Extravaganza in Florissant, Missouri, on Saturday, Jan. 21.

Faculty members Victoria Brown-Kennerly, Paul Frazier, Ravin Kodikara, Nicole Miller-Struttmann, Victoria Brown-Kennerly and Stephanie Schroeder were on-hand at the event, interacting with students and their families and discussing the unique educational opportunities at Webster University with students and their families.

This event showcased educational opportunities in the region for students interested in science, technology, engineering and math fields. The science faculty invited K-12 students and their families to discover the genetics of fly eye color, to observe ant tunneling behavior, and get up-close and personal with Missouri’s native bees.
