Local Subway Shop Helps Send Webster Conservatory Seniors to L.A
Eat Subway on second and fourth Tuesdays each month

In a partnership with Subway, located in The Old Orchard Gallery in Webster Groves, Webster University students, staff and faculty have the opportunity to help Webster’s Conservatory of the Theatre Arts seniors travel to Los Angeles for their annual showcase.

The second and fourth Tuesday of each month between the hours of 12 p.m and 5:30 p.m., a percentage of the proceeds from Webster University community member purchases (with valid Webster ID) will be donated to the showcase. Webster University community members may use money from their Webster account or pay normally with a valid Webster ID.

Each spring, the Webster Conservatory seniors travel by bus to New York to present their work to professional designers, directors, agents and casting directors. Following the portfolio presentation and the acting showcase, the seniors have a chance to network with alumni at a reception. This annual trip is not only a wonderful way to introduce the graduating class to New York, but it gives the seniors one last group event to top off their four years in the Conservatory.

Then in May, the senior performance majors venture off to LA to work with West Coast professionals.
