Career and Internship Fair 2018 Oct. 10

The Career Planning & Development Center (CPDC) will host the annual Career & Internship Fair, Wednesday, Oct. 10, 1-4 p.m., in the University Center (Grant Gymnasium) on the Webster Groves campus in St. Louis, Missouri.

This event is open to all current students and recent alumni. Meet recruiters face-to-face. There will be many employers ready to share information and discuss full-time, part-time, internship and volunteer opportunities.

The Career & Internship Fair is an excellent opportunity to gather career related information that relates to current students or alumni. Seniors can find out about full-time employment, trainee programs and more. Juniors can find out about internships and co-ops. Sophomores and freshmen can take the opportunity to talk with recruiters about the classes or experiences needed for your career.

This year, the CPDC is very excited to bring recruiters, some of whom are Webster University alumni, representing over 50 companies and organizations to campus. Ameren, New Balance, TD Ameritrade, Peace Corps, Edward Jones, St. Louis Zoo, Momentum, Youth In Need, American Red Cross and SSM Healthcare are just a few of the organizations that will be on campus Wednesday, Oct. 10, to meet with our students.

The Career Planning & Development Center asks faculty and staff to encourage all students and alumni to take advantage of this valuable career development opportunity.

“The employers are coming, now we have to get the students and alumni to participate!" said Trezette Dixon, assistant director, Employer Relations, Career Planning & Development Center. "Our students and alumni will help make this event a complete success.

“It’s not just for seniors. National and international employers are coming to campus, eager to meet the qualified, diverse and globally educated students and alumni of Webster University. In a technology driven job market, students get a rare opportunity to meet face to face with recruiters from a variety of industries.”
