Men's Golf Three-Peats as SLIAC Champion, Ciesla Wins Medalist Honors

Congratulations to Webster’s Men’s Golf team who won their third consecutive SLIAC league title on Tuesday at Weaver Ridge Golf Club. The team won by 73 shots over runner-up Fontbonne.

At this year's SLIAC Championships, the Gorloks carded a 25-over 889 as a team for 54 to win its third consecutive and ninth all-time SLIAC title and also earn a return trip to the NCAA Division III National Championships in mid-May in Kentucky.

Webster's winning margin of 73 shots is the largest in the history of the championship event as the previous largest winning margin was 43 shots in 2003 as Webster won the title with a 907 over Maryville, who finished second with a 950. Ironically, Webster head coach Andrew Belsky was a senior on that 2003 Gorloks team.
