Community Music School Now Enrolling for Kindermusik Village Mini Session 2
Kindermusik classes will begin the week of Oct. 23 and run through Dec. 16

The Community Music School of Webster University is now enrolling for their Village Mini-Session 2, a seven-week series of Kindermusik classes for newborns to 18 months. Classes begin the week of Oct. 23, and run through Dec. 16.

This session, you and your child will enjoy our Do-Si-Do curriculum. Pick up your baby and dance the Charleston, the Tango, and the Cha-Cha and learn why dancing with your baby helps develop vital learning skills-from head-to-toe. Play with fun props and a variety of baby appropriate instruments. Inspired by the Do-Si-Do storybook, explore how steady beat and rhythm fosters your baby's developing mind. A variety of classical and folk music opens the door to an engaging world of movement for you and your baby.

Home Materials that supplement the class include a CD with songs from class, a Kindermusik egg shaker and scarf, a picture board book-Do-Si-Do-with lilting move-to-it rhyming text, and a set of Art Banners for the nursery wall that strengthens vision and promotes early literacy.

Our baby music classes offer a sensory-rich yet caring and gentle environment. The activities and relationships you engage in there will develop and strengthen your baby's neural pathways, enhance your growing parent-child bond, and help you understand the how's and why's of your baby's development. Plus it's a fun thing to do!
