Focus Groups for Employees, Students on Fundraising Campaign Priorities

Webster University's Board of Trustees and university leaders are in the planning stages of launching a major fundraising campaign that will advance Webster's vision and mission. Deans and unit heads have been identifying their highest strategic priorities and needs. The next step: securing feedback about these proposed funding priorities. Faculty, staff and students in the St. Louis area are invited to the upcoming focus groups to discuss these priorities.

Snapshots: Webster pride, traditions celebrated at Spirit Weekend

Over 500 students, parents, family members, faculty and staff came together Feb. 7-8 for Spirit Weekend 2020. The weekend gives parents an opportunity to see what college life is like for their student as well as to have some fun. Events include home basketball games, Siblings Night, and many opportunities to celebrate Webster spirit! The weekend began with the kick-off pep rally in the University Center Commons, where attendees were entertained by the Webster University Cheerleaders, Pep Band and the Chordloks.

Career Planning and Development Center Host U.S. Department of State, Diplomat in Residence, Amanda Johnson

The Career Planning and Development Center will host the U.S. Department of State, Diplomat in Residence, Amanda Johnson, on Feb. 7. Johnson will conduct classroom visits in the Walker School of Business and Technology in room 133 and host a lunch and learn from noon-1 p.m. This event is open to all Webster University students, faculty and staff, both in-person and online.
