Webster Film Series Presents, "Seeing is Believing: Women Direct"

Webster Film Series will host a screening of "Seeing is Believing: Women Direct" directed by Cady McClain on Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the Winfred Moore Auditorium. Seeing Is Believing: Women Direct is a documentary film which emphasizes the opportunity for women to use their voice through media to change the social and political landscape and achieve full equality. There will be a Skype Q&A with McClain directly following the screening.

Webster University volleyball team's 10th annual Dig Pink match

Webster Volleyball to Host Fontbonne for Annual Dig Pink Match on Oct. 3

The Webster University volleyball team will host its 10th annual Dig Pink match on Oct. 3 in support of the Sideout Foundation, which raises money and awareness of breast cancer. There will be 50/50 raffles, games and a silent auction for the fans to participate in and the fans are encouraged to wear pink to the match. The Gorloks will welcome its Big Bend Avenue rivals Fontbonne University for a SLIAC match inside Grant Gymnasium at 7 p.m.

MOACAC College Fair at Webster Welcomes Nearly 500 High School Juniors

The Office of Admission, in partnership with Affton High School and the Missouri Association for College Admission Counseling (MOACAC) again hosted the annual South Central Regional College Fair on Webster’s campus on Sept. 18. This event was expanded from a local to a regional college fair this year, heightening the turnout of both representatives from institutes of higher education and prospective students from the area.

2018 Wellness Fair 'Invest in Your Wellness' Wrap-Up

The 2018 Webster Wellness Fair saw interest from many students and staff with 100 pre-registering for the fair and many others who were walk-ins. “Invest in Your Wellness” was the theme of the fair. It took place Sept. 10-14 in the Sunnen Lounge. Multiple students and staff are the winners of a $15 wellness item of their choice from Amazon.com: Ekya McDowell (student), Heather Arora (staff), Maureen Weil (staff), Jody Paterson (staff), Vy Nguyen (student).
