Two New Financial Wellness Resources Available

Webster Wellness is pleased to announce two new financial wellness resources for our Webster community. First, the "Financial Wellness" digital platform, in partnership with Prudential, will go live on Tuesday, Jan. 22. It combines digital learning and interactive tools with personalized content for action at your pace along with a library of topic-specific videos, educational articles and the opportunity to attend monthly webinars on relevant financial topics. The second opportunity is Webster's Pathways Financial Wellness Series starting Feb. 6. This series of five courses will be classroom/lecture type presentations on topics like savings & budgeting, investment principles, retirement strategies and more.

Nominations Open for Individual, Organization Student Leadership Awards

Student Leadership Award nominations are currently being accepted through March 1 (Walker Award nominations are due Feb. 22). Please take a moment to nominate a deserving student or student organization for recognition of their accomplishments during the 2018-2019 academic year. All nominees and nominators will be invited to attend the 26th Annual Student Leadership Awards dinner on Friday, April 26.

Call for Judges for Gorlok Gala Forensic Tournament

Webster University’s Forensic and Debate Program is hosting their annual Gorlok Gala tournament the weekend of Jan. 25-27. The team is still in need of judges. No experience is necessary; actually, it is ideal to have a pool of objective critics in order to provide a more sound, competitive and educational experience for the competitors. Centre Francophone Bringing French Author Leila Slimani to St. Louis

The Centre Francophone is set to welcome French author Leila Slimani to St. Louis on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the St. Louis County Library. Author of the internationally bestselling thriller “The Perfect Nanny,” Leila Slimani is the first Moroccan woman to win France’s most prestigious literary prize, the Prix Goncourt.
