Hellinger on Bolivian Revolution in Venezuela 

Dan Hellinger, professor of International Relations in the College of Arts & Sciences, has just published “Resource Nationalism and the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela,” in The Political Economy of Natural Resources and Development, edited by Paul Haslam (Routledge Press).

The book "offers a unique and multidisciplinary perspective on how the commodity boom of the mid-2000s reshaped the model of development throughout Latin America and elsewhere in the developing world."

Woolf Articles on Human Rights in Psychology Education; Torture 

Linda Woolf, professor of Psychology and International Human Rights, has the featured article in the February 2016 issue of the American Psychological Association's Psychology Teachers Network.

The article, "Teaching Psychology: Infusing Human Rights," is the first of a series of articles examining human rights and ethics.

Woolf, who was just named to the special commission to review all of the American Psychological Association's ethics processes and procedures, also recently published "APA, SWP, the Hoffman Report, and Torture," in The Feminist Psychologist.

Barnidge at History Museum on Presidential Responses to Terrorism

Robert P. Barnidge Jr., lecturer and coordinator of International Relations in the College of Arts & Sciences, delivered a lecture on presidential responses to terrorism as part of the "Spies, Traitors, Saboteurs: Fear and Freedom in America" exhibit at the Missouri History Museum on March 3.
