Brianna Pagan named to CoSIDA 2017 Academic All-District First Team

Webster University student Brianna Pagan has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) 2017 Academic All-District First Team. Pagan, a senior soccer player from St. Louis, Missouri (Washington HS), becomes the first Academic All-District First Team selection for the Gorloks since Webster Hall of Famer Christy Capkovic in 2010.

Pagan now is eligible for voting for Academic All-American by virtue of being a First Team selection at the district level. Webster is part of CoSIDA's district five which includes 11 states covering the Southeastern U.S. and Missouri.

She accomplished the rare feat of being named SLIAC First Team All-Conference all four years and was SLIAC All-Academic three years. Pagan was named to the SLIAC All-Tournament Team and was MVP in 2016. She has been named to the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team as well. Pagan was selected to the United Soccer Coaches' All-Central Region team three years and was Academic All-Central Region also. 

2017 Season

Pagan had five goals and six assists for the 19-2 Gorloks this fall. She had 22 goals, 17 assists, and 61 points, in her career for Webster, and her 8 game-winning goals ties her for ninth on Webster's all-time high list. 

Pagan carries a 3.89 cumulative grade point average while majoring in mathematics and computer science at Webster, while being named to the Dean's List five times.
