Research Across Disciplines: Call for Submissions

Submissions are being accepted from for Webster's Research Across Disciplines (RAD) conference, held May 5-6 in the East Academic Building.

NOTE with update on March 24: The submission deadline has been extended to April 3.

Students are encouraged to submit their work for the RAD conference and gain valuable experience as an emerging contributor to their field.

Original work from students in all fields, throughout Webster's global network, and from other St. Louis regional institutions can be submitted. All submissions will be considered for an oral presentation, poster presentation, or creative display.

For students to submit a proposal, they will need to prepare an abstract of 150-200 words summarizing their project. Students will also need to identify a faculty member to sponsor their work. Proposals can be submitted online at www.webster.edu/rad.

Research Across Disciplines (RAD) showcases undergraduate and graduate student work that makes an original intellectual or creative contribution to the discipline. The conference features students in a variety of academic and creative fields from across the St. Louis region and across the Webster network.

For more information or help getting started, please visit the RAD website for helpful links that will guide students in preparing their presentations. You can also view a recorded information session by Dr. Eric Goedereis, a faculty member in the College of Arts & Sciences.
