The opening reception and poster session of the 2017 Teaching Festival will be held on Monday, Feb. 13, 3-5 p.m. in the Faculty Development Center (Library Suite 420), and the event will feature projects by faculty, students, and academic partners.
The entire Webster community is invited to stop by for refreshments and to celebrate Webster’s innovations and successes in the area of teaching and learning.
The poster session will feature presentations on a wide variety of teaching and learning topics, including identifying areas for growth in your teaching, the role the new Interdisciplinary Science Building will play in supporting teaching and learning, and a community service learning project where students at the Athens campus worked with refugees.
The session will also include a syllabus gallery, a display of Webster syllabi from across disciplines designed to help share and foster learner-centered practices.
