Webster Cheerleading Hosts Annual Chili Cook-Off
Fundraising helped send the team to nationals last year, where they won an Outstanding Award and a 5th place national ranking.

Webster University's Competitive Cheerleading squad is having a Chili Cook-Off on Nov. 8, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m in Sunnen Lounge. All are welcome to enter chilies for a vote. $2 admission to the event includes all you can eat chili and the ability to vote for a favorite. Baked goods will also be available for purchase. All proceeds go towards attending the Cheer Ltd. National Competition in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Last year, Webster Cheerleaders performed a flawless routine with zero deductions at the Cheer Ltd. Canam National Collegiate Cheerleading Championships, earning them an Outstanding Award and a 5th place national ranking in the Intermediate Co-ed Collegiate Division.

“The Webster University Competitive Cheerleading Program is the foundation for academic and athletic spirit on campus and within the Webster University community,” said head coach Justin Barton, who was instrumental in launching the program two years ago.

The Cheerleading team thanks the Webster University community for their support.
