Webster Students, Alumni Win Excellence in Nursing Awards

Two Webster University nursing students and one alumna have been selected as winners of the St. Louis Magazine 2018 Excellence in Nursing Awards. Additionally, three alumni and two current students were among the finalists.
Below are winners and finalists from Webster University and the categories in which
they were recognized:
Excellence in Nursing Award Winners
- Meg Kurtz (St. Luke’s; current MSN student) – Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Amy McLean (Mercy; current MSN student) – Women’s Health
- Cindi Silvey (St. Luke’s; MSN alumna) – Emergency Department
Excellence in Nursing Award Finalists
- Angela Kinser (Missouri Baptist Medical Center; current MSN student) – Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Heather Miller (Mercy; current MSN student) – Pediatrics: Neonatal
- Julie Stumpf (St. Louis Children’s Hospital: MSN alumna) – Pediatrics: Neonatal
- Elaine Thomas-Horton (Barnes-Jewish Hospital; MSN alumna) – Administration
- Julia Williams (Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College; MSN alumna) – Medical-Surgical Nursing
