Reflective Teaching Community to Discuss Relating Course Material to Real Life
April 02, 2018

The Reflective Teaching Community (RTC) will hold its final session of the academic year on Friday, April 6, 12-1 p.m. All part-time and full-time faculty and academic partners are invited to join the group for discussion and a pizza lunch in the Faculty Development Center Suite (Emerson Library 420).
At our upcoming meeting, Stephanie Schroeder, associate professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, will facilitate our session on “Relating Course Material to Real Life.”
What opportunities do we create for our students to connect what they’re learning to real-world experiences within our disciplines, to practical endeavors, and to issues that matter to them? This session will serve as the conclusion to the RTC’s productive year-long exploration of making learning relevant and meaningful.
Please RSVP to Liza Dister, Faculty Development coordinator, at edister17@webster.edu or 314-246-7602.
