Snapshots: Webster holds largest New Student and Parent Orientation to date

Orientation leaders get new students and their parents fired up as they welcome them to campus.

New Student & Parent Orientation was held Aug. 23-26, on the Webster Groves campus. Over 1,400 new students and their families attended over 40 sessions and events during the weekend; by far, Webster's largest orientation ever.

For two weeks, the Department of First Year Experience and Undergraduate Persistence, trained 40 Orientation/Connection Leaders to welcome and engage students and their parents to Webster University. With the assistance of the entire Webster community, students easily transitioned into college life and parents left campus at ease, knowing that Webster staff and faculty would have their students' best interests at heart.

The Department of First Year Experience and Undergraduate Persistence thanks everyone for helping to make Orientation a great success and being their partner in retaining Webster students.
