Flewellen Named on Power 100 List

ST. LOUIS - Webster University Chief Diversity Officer Vincent C. Flewellen was named to the Delux Magazine Power 100 list this week. The annual list names the most influential, inspirational and “game-changing” Black professionals in the St. Louis region.
Flewellen will be honored by the magazine during a gala that will be held Dec. 22 at the Chase Park Plaza.
According to Delux Magazine, the list is compiled from anonymous nominations of people who “lead, inspire, innovate and demonstrate through their individual talents, the very best in St. Louis.” The awards for the Delux Power 100 recognize the most influential African American in arts, business, community service, education and other exciting fields. The magazine selects less than 10 honorees who have gone above and beyond and truly made an impact in St. Louis from the new class of Power 100 each year for the distinguished awards.
Flewellen was recognized as one of six “Distinguished Awardees.” Alongside Flewellen, the magazine also will honor, Felicia, Elize-Gillespie a municipal judge with several St. Louis Counties, Reginald Harris, Valerie Patron with the St. Louis Regional Chamber and Kendall Norris with Global Leadership Forum. The magazine also will award former State Rep and community leaderBetty Thompson with its legacy award.
