Webster Thailand Students and Faculty Attend ICSP 2019

The International Conference on Spirituality and Psychology (ICSP) 2019 was held in Bangkok, March 13-15.

Four faculty members from Webster University Thailand’s Department of Psychology and Department of Media Communications, along with 10 undergraduate students attended the event.

During the three days, the faculty members took center stage at various times.

Dr. Close presented his paper on “Being Mindful of Mindfulness,” Dr. Rhodes presented his paper on “Healing Transgenerational Trauma Through Energy Medicine”, and Prof. Srisupawat alongside Dr. Beckstein presented their inter-disciplinary paper on the “Possible Therapeutic Benefit of Spiritual Images.”

ICSP 2019 provided an excellent opportunity for the faculty members to gain insight into a wide range of topics and to network with other researchers to forge productive inter-university collaborations. Moreover, the students were able to experience a professional conference first-hand and a different way of learning outside of the traditional classroom environment.
