Academic Resource Center Winter Break, End of Semester Hours

As we near the end of the Fall 2020 semester, the Academic Resource Center (ARC) encourages Webster employees and students to make use of the free academic resources available to them through the Academic Resource Center both on-ground and online.
On-ground resources are available during Winter Break, except between Monday, Dec. 21, and Friday, Jan. 1. Specific Testing Center, Tutoring Program, and Writing Center hours and scheduling details follow for the weeks before and after these dates.

Testing Center
The Testing Center will be open Dec. 14, 15, 17, and 18 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m., and Dec. 16 from noon-7 p.m. Students wanting to schedule finals should do so as soon as possible to allow for a greater chance of availability.
The Testing Center will reopen on Monday, Jan. 4. The Testing Center will be open until 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday of that week, closing at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, but will return to a Monday-Thursday 7 p.m. closure the week of Jan. 11.
Tutoring Program
Peer tutoring appointments will continue to be available virtually via Zoom through Friday, Dec. 4. Individual peer tutors will be available for virtual appointments during the week of Dec. 7 with limited availability.
NetTutor, accessible through each WorldClassRoom (Canvas) course shell, will also continue to be available.
The Spring 2021 Peer Tutoring Schedule will be posted on the Academic Resource Center’s webpage soon.
Writing Center
Fall 2020 Writing Center schedule will continue through Friday, Dec. 18. Weekend hours will not be held between Saturday, Dec. 19, and Sunday, Jan. 17, but will resume Saturday, Jan. 23. The Spring 2021 Writing Center schedule will be posted online soon.
Writing assistance is also available through the Online Writing Center accessible through the Help menu and selecting Writing Assistance in WorldClassRoom (Canvas). The Online Writing Center will be closed starting Dec. 23 and will reopen Jan.4.
NetTutor is open over break and accessible through each WorldClassRoom course shell.
