Gorloks Now! Fund Applications for Students, Staff Employees

Webster University donors generously stepped forward with financial support of the Gorloks Now! Fund to assist students and employees with emergency needs due to the pandemic. Interested students and employees should review the eligibility before applying for support. Applications are due by Oct. 15, 2020.

Student Applications

Gorloks Now! aids students by providing grant and loan funding for immediate needs and when necessary provide connections to longer-term solutions offered through connection to campus and regional/statewide programs. These grants are funded through donations specifically directed to the Gorloks Now1 fund and will help students who need critical financial support during and after the COVID-10 crisis.

Employee Applications

The Human Resources Department is pleased to announce that a total of $5,000 was contributed to aid staff employees’ immediate needs.

All staff who have financial needs may apply, but current furloughed staff employees of Webster University will receive priority consideration. Employees will receive the funds through direct deposit and will be taxed on the funds in accordance with federal and state taxes.

Funds equal to a week of pay will be awarded to full-time and part-time staff employees who are furloughed. Casual staff employees will benefit from an outreach of limited support. This financial support will be considered by completing an online application. Please note that all requests are not guaranteed to be fulfilled.
