Following a robust search to fill the permanent Academic ADA Coordinator position, the Academic Resource Center (ARC) and Webster University are excited to announce that Tasha Scola, current interim academic ADA coordinator, is moving into the permanent role on April 16.

Scola has been serving in the interim role since Dec. 16, 2019, and has helped students, prospective students, faculty, and staff in this position. In addition to her exemplary work these past four months as the interim academic ADA coordinator, Scola has extensive experience working with people with disabilities and years of professional experience in education across various levels.

Scola earned her M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of Missouri, St. Louis in 2013 and her B.A. in Education with an emphasis in Special Education from Webster University in 2006. She has been co-developing and teaching courses at Webster University since 2014. Her experiences with Webster, as an alumna and adjunct faculty member, allow her to bring multiple perspectives to this position and better support the Webster community.

“We’re so glad to bring Tasha into the permanent position, and we’re looking forward to the progress we’ll make as a University with Tasha’s support and expertise," said Erica Ellard, director of the Academic Resource Center. "Her dedication to Webster’s students, faculty, and staff as well as her commitment to the ARC and University mission are invaluable.”
