Spring 2016 Faculty Review Notices

The departments for the following faculty members have posted notice of faculty reviews during Spring 2021. Unless otherwise noted, for each review Webster University faculty, staff and students are invited to submit written and signed testimony relevant to the following criteria:

  • Classroom teaching
  • University contributions
  • Professional activities/contributions
  • Student advising
  • Department contributions/service

Please see the text after each faculty member name for instructions and deadlines for submitting testimony. Comments are especially valued regarding teaching and teaching support, professional development and scholarly/creative activity and service. Testimony should be submitted as a PDF file attached to an email clearly identified as from the sender, or in the body of an email, or as a physical letter in the mail. Anonymous testimony is not accepted.

Note: This post is updated with new names throughout the term as notice of new reviews are received. You can find a department or faculty member’s name quickly by doing a CTRL-F search for their name.

Conservatory of Theatre Arts

  • Rayme Cornell: The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University invites faculty, staff, and students to submit testimony for Rayme Cornell’s third-year review. Please send written, signed testimony to Dunsi Dai, Professor, Conservatory of Theatre Arts, Webster University, 470 E. Lockwood Avenue, St. Louis, MO, 63119. Signed PDFs can be emailed to daidu@webster.edu. The deadline for testimonial letters is Feb. 15, 2021.
  • Evangeline Whitlock: The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University invites faculty, staff, and students to submit testimony for Evangeline Whitlock’s first-year review. Please send written, signed testimony to Bruce Longworth, Professor, Conservatory of Theatre Arts, Webster University, 470 E. Lockwood Avenue, Saint Louis, MO, 63119. Signed PDFs can be emailed to longwobr@webster.edu. The deadline for testimonial letters is Jan. 25, 2021.

Department of Music

  • Matt Pickart: The Department of Music seeks testimony regarding the required third-year review for Prof. Matt Pickart. All testimony is due to Dr. Jeffrey Carter, chair of the Department of Music (jeffreycarter67@webster.edu) by Feb. 15, 2021.

Department of Management

  • Eric Rhiney: The Department of Management is conducting a formal review of its chair, Eric Rhiney, associate professor of Management. Members of the University community are invited to submit written comments regarding the performance of Dr. Rhiney in his role as the Chair of the Management Department. Comments must be in writing and signed. Written comments may be submitted electronically to baeblerb@webster.edu as an email attachment. Signed comments should be addressed to: Dr. Barrett Baebler, Associate Professor, Department of Management, East Academic Building room 389, 470 E. Lockwood Ave., St. Louis, MO 63119-3194. To be considered by the review committee, comments must be received no later than March 22, 2021. If you have any questions, please direct them to Dr. Baebler via email.
