Stroble earlier this summer. Stroble was joined by several Sisters of Loretto to dedicate the garden in honor of the religious order that founded Webster and oversaw its administration until 1967.

The garden renovation was made possible by a gift from Stroble and her husband Paul as part of the Gorlok Gardens campus beautification project. It was dedicated on June 23.

“Webster University will always have strong ties to the Sisters of Loretto,” said Stroble. “Paul and I felt it was important to honor them with this garden. We were grateful and fortunate to be joined by six Sisters, who will always be part of the Webster community.”

The Sisters of Loretto Founders Garden is located between Webster and Loretto halls on campus.
