Jordan Weinke Receives Service Award

The Office of Academic Affairs and Division of Student Success are pleased to announce that Jordan Wienke, Senior Academic Advisor, won the ACD Service Award from National Academic Advising Association (NACADA). This award recognizes an individual who has provided outstanding service, leadership, and commitment to a specific community within NACADA. Wienke also presented at the national 2022 conference with her presentation titled, “Advising International Students in the United States.”

Wienke was nominated for this award because of her work with the Professional and Graduate Student (GPS) Advising Community in NACADA. She has been a member of the community since 2015 and on the steering committee since 2017. During her time on the committee, she developed and chaired the Graduate Mentor Program. Senior Director of Student Success Kyle McCool, stated, “Jordan’s engagement and leadership in NACADA is a wonderful benefit to the Webster advising community. She brings a broad perspective to our work and new ideas that support our mission. I am so proud of Jordan for being nominated externally for this award, as it tells me that the global advising community also values her contributions. Webster should be proud!”

Wienke was honored during a special ceremony at the NACADA Annual Conference for her service.
