Snapshot: A Day at the Fed

Webster University students recently had the unique opportunity to spend a “Day at the Fed,” the annual event held at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis in downtown St. Louis on Oct. 2.

Webster students joined with students, professors and career services staff from area universities including Washington University, Harris-Stowe University, Saint Louis University, Truman State University, University of Missouri-St. Louis, as well as Kentucky State University, University of Pine Bluff-Arkansas and Murray State University.

Presentation topics included “True Life: I’m an Assistant Examiner," “So You Think You Want to be a Bank Examiner,“ “Economic Education” and “The Federal Reserve and Community Banks." While enjoying an elegant lunch, attendees had the opportunity to network with recruiters, current employees and students from the various universities.
