Nov. 4: Thirst Project to engage students in global water crisis
October 28, 2015

The Thirst Project is a campaign committed to ending the world water crisis that currently affects more than 748 million people. The mission of the Thirst Project is to build a socially-conscious generation of young people who end the global water crisis.
Follett has partnered with the Thirst Project to launch the 2015-2016 school tour, in which Thirst’s Road Warriors will visit more than 100 Follett-managed campus store locations to discuss the water crisis. Follett and Thirst’s partnership stems from a shared belief in student empowerment and universal access to essential human resources, like water and education. These tour visits often result in the formation of local student chapters to support the Thirst cause.
