ST. LOUIS – Webster University’s George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology was listed on the Military Times’ “Best for Vets: Business Schools” survey for the fourth year in a row, it was announced today.

The annual rankings look at academic support, student services, campus culture and several measures of academic success and selectivity to determine a school’s overall score. This year, Webster University was listed in 38th place.

“Webster University has many programs to help those who served in the military complete a college degree,” said retired Navy Captain Sean Coleman, associate vice president for U.S. Military Campuses and Government Programs for Webster University. “This national recognition is a validation of all the hard work from our students, faculty and staff who work daily to make sure we are serving the needs of our veterans.”

Military Times issued its first “Best for Vets: Business Schools” rankings in 2013 and Webster has been on every list since that inaugural year. The full rankings are listed online at MilitaryTimes.com as well as ArmyTimes.com, NavyTimes.com, AirForceTimes.com and MarineCorpsTimes.com.

In November, Military Times listed Webster University on its annual “Best for Vets: Colleges.” That was the fourth time Webster was named on that ranking. Webster University has previously been named as a “Best for Vets” University by U.S. News and World Report, G.I. Jobs Magazine and Military Advanced Education Magazine.

“Webster University has a proud history of working with members of the military, veterans and their families for more than 40 years,” said Retired Air Force Brigadier General Mike, Callan, special assistant to the Provost for Military Affairs and head of the Office of Military Affairs. “We offer a wide-variety of programs that are designed to help active military members rise through the ranks or for those transitioning to civilian life to find a career that fits their interests.”
