Webster Presents at Mosaic Project Workshop on International Student Services
June 15, 2016

Several individuals from Webster University attended and presented at the St. Louis Mosaic Project’s “University International Student Best Practice Sharing Workshop.”
The goal of the St. Louis Mosaic Project is to make St. Louis the fastest-growing metropolitan area for immigration growth by 2020 (www.stlmosaicproject.org/).
During the workshop, Marcie Schumert and Trezette Dixon from Webster's Career Planning and Development Center (CPDC) presented information about Webster’s efforts to prepare our international students for seeking career opportunities. A highlight of the presentation included an overview of the “Career Series for International Students” workshops that are a collaborative effort of the International Recruitment and Services office, the Multicultural and International Student Affairs office and the CPDC.
Also in attendance at the workshop from Webster were Blerina Polovina, Janka Ribando, Anne Browning and Tamara Gegg-LaPlume.
