Snapshots: Clewell Receives Lifetime Achievement in the Arts Award

The Webster Groves Art Commission honored David Clewell on Oct. 12 with the 2017 Lifetime Achievement in the Arts award. This is the 10th year for the award in Webster Groves.
Clewell is a professor of English at Webster University and previously served as the Poet Laureate of Missouri from 2010-2012.
Murray Farish, Associate Professor of English, spoke in honor of Clewell at the event along with Ben Clewell, David's son and current Webster University student and Stefene Russell.
After receiving the award, Clewell did a reading of two of his poems.
