Update on Campuses Impacted by Hurricane Irma

As the southeast United States recovers from the impact of Hurricane Irma, we can report that to the best of our knowledge that students, faculty and staff in Florida, South Carolina and Georgia are safe.

Many Florida campuses, employees and students continue to be affected by power outages and localized flooding.

Webster University campus locations in the region continue to prepare for re-opening:

All South Carolina campuses have re-opened today and are fully operational.

All campuses in Georgia remain closed today but tentatively plan to open sometime this week.
In Florida, all campuses are closed this week with plans to reopen on Monday, Sept. 18.

Merritt Island (Space Coast), Melbourne, and Ocala campuses in Florida have reported minor damage that is currently being assessed.

Community members are encouraged to check the website of their individual campus location for the latest information.

Affected campuses are working closely with faculty to adjust class schedules and ensure a successful completion of the Fall 1 term for students.
