Vienna Campus Event Leads to Bloomberg Internship in London

Webster University student Jaime Consarnau has landed an internship with Bloomberg, a major global provider of 24-hour financial news and information, thanks to interest generated from an on-campus event.

Consarnau, who is pursuing his BS in Business Administration at Webster's Vienna campus, first met with Bloomberg representatives during a Webster Vienna event hosted by the business and management department there. He later passed interviews in London that led him to securing a 10-week global data internship there.

"One of the reasons I interviewed for the internship was because as I researched the company, I found that I really liked the work environment they have," said Consarnau. "The culture is very fast-paced and open, which is difficult as a lot of fast-paced cultures are not often open."
