Community Music School Preparatory Program's Fall Concert Goes Live on YouTube

On Sunday, Nov. 29, the CMS Preparatory Program (Prep) hosted their first live concert of the 20-21 academic year on YouTube. Twenty-nine advanced student musicians, divided into 8 chamber ensembles, pre-recorded their concert repertoire which was then featured on the CMS YouTube channel during a livestream hosted by CMS Prep Program Coordinator Davin Rubicz.

The Prep program utilizes the vast artistic resources of the Greater St. Louis region, including the St. Louis Symphony, area University and other music professionals, and our own Community Music School and Webster University faculty, to offer high caliber instruction, performance opportunities, and artistic mentoring in one comprehensive curriculum.

This year, the Preparatory Program is enjoying its seventh season of partnership with the Chamber Music Society of St. Louis (CMSSL).  CMSSL is co-sponsoring three Prep groups, providing coaching services, performance opportunities, and additional mentoring.  CMSSL also provided discounted Concert Pass Collaborative passes to participating Prep students, and offers discounted tickets to the entire CMS student body and their parents.
